TNCT Graduation Ceremony

"Things that meet will finally be apart.".This graduation ceremony on 19th march the end of my Diploma Course in Tokyo National College of Technology) TNCT for 3 years. It was a fine day, with some sakura starting to bloom. After experiencing graduation and entrance ceremony, Sakura is not attempting nor beautiful to me anymore. Because whenever the Sakura starts to bloom, it marks an ending, or a starting. Well, I like a new starting, but not the ending.
It was time to say goodbye to my friends, the school staffs and juniors, and also Hachioji that had been my second home for three years.

my little present from beloved Jie
Three years was short. time flies too fast that I had no time to recall what I had been doing those three years. I was actually excited and couldn't wait to graduate from TNCT and enter University of Tsukuba as soon as possible that time. However, I did feel upset about leaving the people I met there. Friends, and lectures.
Recalling back the time, I wasn't matured enough in handling new situations, wasn't brave enough to handle relationship that I had trouble in, wasn't wise enough in managing things.,etc, I could feel the process of growing up as an adult.
And What I could learn from this three years,is that, learning is unlimited. We learn until we the last breathe..

Congratulation and goodbye my friends.

I am an undergraduate !大学生になった!

"ENTRANCE CEREMONY
UNIVERSITY OF TSUKUBA"
Marks the beginning of another stage in my life.
Finally, I become an undergraduate! should had style up my hair for this special day!!
Hello!!! It has been a month I haven't updated my blog! As you can see, I just started my new life in Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan. Tsukuba is a city located north to Tokyo, 45min distance from Tokyo by Tsukuba Express train. And I came to Tsukuba, because I have just entered the University if Tsukuba!! If you have been following my blog, I passed the entrance exam last summer, and after half year, I am officially become the student here!
I couldn't wait for this day to come to be honest. I have been longing to start a life as an undergraduate student. First day, with suit on, attended the ceremony alone. But I know my family always with me, and I was proud to walk in alone. It was 8th April 2013, early spring in Japan. but it was a warm day and most of the sakura had fallen by that time.
The ceremony didn't take much time.It ended in an hour. But I was stunned with the grand hall, great atmosphere, professional performances from the university. I am touched even until now.
And I know, I am in the best university.
If you search for the history if University of Tsukuba, It was a university of education, and the first president was Mr. Jigoro Kano, the founder of Judo.(The man statue in the picture below is Mr.Jigoro Kano.)
There are a lot of things special about the university. And I kind of fallen in love with the word TSUKUBA.

I really didnt expect myself to be able to come here, and be a student of University of Tsukuba.
I promised myself, I am going to fulfill this opportunities by being active and try my best here.
recently, I have been joining a lot of parties, met a lot of people and I realized a lot of things.
Every little steps, every little braveness actually could bring you a new opportunity, no matter small or large.
I create my opportunity, not wait for the chance.
If you long for one thing, it's not sure you will get it; but if you never thought about it, you will never get it.

Mountain people mountain sea. they are all new entering students with their parents.

Outside the ceremony hall.

Finally, presentation of the song "Imagine the Future' by the students.

Look pro ! btw, it was a nice song!!

At night, the clubs and circles were promoting their clubs from morning until night, to get new students enter their group. And guess wjhat? this continues for more than one moth. they call it 新歓.

Posters of clubs pasted on notification board in the compound of student dormitory.

My student ID.  =) Purple for Tsukuba university!

and these are what I got from the orientation. Guidance, syllabus, Life guidance, activitiies clubs etc!
Lastly, congratulation to myself for stepping into another stage of my life!

My special day, My special Month

Happy Birthday, Chyesin :)

I just love March.. If you ask me my favorite number, it's always 3 and 16.. because it is my month, it is my day..On this special day once in a year, I feel that I am the luckiest person in the world.. Another reason I love March because I am always proud to have my very best friend born in the same month with me. She born on 20th March, in the same year with me. And we are both proud to be Pieces, which get us to understand each other very much. :)

This year, my birthday was a little special for me.... hehehe..
First, I celebrated with my junior Ung jie, and we had a nice together that day. well, she actually enjoyed better than me as if it was her birthday! The best thing is, we realized that we healed the broken friendship and a stronger bong is tied between us!
US!
Second, the place was nice and the birthday 'cake' is different from the last 22 years..furthermore, Tokyo bay night view from the restaurant. gorgeous and sounds high class right? but it was not that expensive actually! satisfied!!!

Third, it was my first time to reserve a seat and ask for the birthday cake for myself. I found this cafe in Odaiba through internet and found out they have this special dessert plate for birthday surprise! Being attracted by the dessert plate, I called the restaurant and reserved for two seats. At the end of the reservation, the waiter in the phone asked me to pay before entering the restaurant so that the birthday person wouldn't realize about the surprise... Then I told him that its okay, because I am the birthday girl.. so embarrassing but it was a nice experience though haha. (blame my junior who was so lazy to reserve for me!)

our seat. that is the Rainbow Bridge outside the window.Great night view!
Malive soda and Passoa Coke. easy drinking liquor that will definitely suits the ladies!
Chips and potatoes.

JP Pizza (JP stands for Joyolis, this restaurant is inside Joypolis Tokyo)

Nice food with great view!! happy happy birthday to me!!!!!! :)

Birthday surprise for myself, the dessert plate with birthday wish!
Happy birthday Chyesin :)
Love always!!
Forth, I had another special celebration on TV!!! Yes, I was on the TV.. dont believe?? look at the pictures below! hehehe
Chyesin on the TV!
webcam-ing through Skype with my parents like last year. but this year, we have a bigger screen television in our new house, and my sister connected the laptop to the tv. that's why I was on the TV. HAHAHAHA.
My sister celebrated her 3 friends' birthday and bought 3 slice cakes home.
So I tumpang their cake to celebrate too! hehe

Make a wish!

one shot for the memory!

Birthday girlssss of the month!! =)

The cakes I tumpang XD
These are the reason I love my day, because every once in a year, I have this day to remind myself how happy and lucky I am. although there were some birthday wishes I was waiting for, but the disappointment never reduce the level of happiness!

Happy birthday to myself and also my friends who are celebrating this month too!

Love for March!

The second day, we visited the Green Bokujyo. walked for 20 min from our hotel because we left the town bus and the next bus would be after an hour. So we decided to walk there instead of waiting in the sunny but cold day. Walking actually warmed up our body...

They have rabbits, cow, sheep, etc and some interesting activities like get to experience milking a cow, How to make butter from fresh milk, playing with rabbits, sheep feeding and horse riding. you can bring your own dog and play around too! also BBQ with your friends there!
